WELCOME TO KATMAI STORIES

This project is close to my heart. As a children’s book author with a deep love for Canada and Alaska, I blend fiction and nonfiction to help young readers connect with wildlife on a personal level. Through engaging storytelling and real-world inspiration, I aim to spark curiosity about North America’s bears and foster a lifelong appreciation for nature. My stories are inspired by the landscapes I love especially the Canadian Rockies and Katmai National Park and highlight the vital conservation efforts led by Parks Canada and the U.S. National Park Service.
